During the third Democratic debate Saturday night, Bernie Sanders apologized to Hillary Clinton and his own supporters for a breach of her campaign's valuable voter data.

Sanders is hoping to squash the controversy which led to the firing of a campaign worker involved.

He admitted his staff acted improperly.

Clinton quickly accepted the apology, saying we should all move on because she doesn't think the American people are interested in this.

She moved on to criticize Republican front-runner Donald Trump on his plan to ban Muslims from entering the U.S. calling him Islamic State's "Best Recruiter."

Meanwhile, Martin O'Malley looked to take advantage of the airtime by going after Clinton and Sanders for having a "flip-flopping, political approach" on their foreign policy outlook.
