This winter season, it seems that there's plenty of firewood for sale! That's good news for homeowners with fireplaces and Franklin stoves...that don't cut their own wood...

But, I'm just wondering how brisk sales are, with the glut of trees that came down, thanks to Hurricane Sandy...

...and piled up, curbside. As above, some wood was spoken for....but lots more is (still) looking to be hauled away...by anyone!

True, this new bounty brought on by Sandy has to "season." But, that just means that the fireplace logs-glut will continue into future winter firewood sales seasons.
