Fire in the Sky - Did you see fire in the sky last night? There are multiple reports of a fireball streaking across the night sky around 11pm last night. Facebook and Twitter exploded with eyewitness reports. The American Meteor Society tracked the reports some claiming it was so low you could hear it crackling. There are literally thousands of these fireballs every day but often over the ocean...or during the day when you can't see them.

The NFL's Mess - There is no indication viewership of the NFL was any less this weekend but it was not a good weekend for Commissioner Roger Goodell. Goodell was skewered by fans and analysts for his handling of the Ray Rice situation. He is not speaking as the former head of the FBI conducts a league investigation. There is word Rice will appeal his suspension from the league.

And there is Adrian Peterson, arguably the best running back in the league, who was deactivated by the Vikings after being charged with beating his four year old son.

Fourth Casino Closes - It had probably the best location for 30 years in Atlantic City, but tomorrow, Trump Plaza becomes the fourth ac casino to close this year...

Solving the Islamic State - Diplomats from around the world have begun arriving at a Paris conference to discuss Iraq and how to combat the militant group Islamic State. But the conference avoids mention of Syria, the power base of the militant organization that's gained territory in both Syria and Iraq.

Talking Terrorism - Governor Chrsitie and New York Governor Cuomo meet today with U.S. Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson. The meeting is to talk about how to beef up security as international terrorism threats are on the rise.

Escapees on the Run - Police are still hunting for two escaped cons who overpowered a guard at the Cumberland County Youth Detention Center. The escapees are considered dangerous.

Bad Day at Six Flags - It was not a good Sunday at Great Adventure as a power outage left thrill riders stranded and closed the park for a while.

Did you get fooled?  -  Assemblyman Declan O’Scanlon (R), New Jersey's anti -red light camera crusader is blasting a red light camera company for creating what he says is a phony baloney traffic safety group to support the claim that red light cameras decrease accidents.

Another heroin warning in New Jersey  - The DEA says it's getting more pure, more deadly, and cheaper. On average, heroin arriving in New Jersey from South America is 58-percent pure, 11-percent more potent than last year. The overdose epidemic has gotten so bad, many police departments have begun arming officers with Narcan, a drug that can prevent fatal OD's.

Banning Text Ads - Companies would be barred from sending unsolicited advertisements via text message in New Jersey under a bill being considered today by the state Senate Commerce Committee. If it becomes law, companies who are caught repeatedly sending the texts could be fined up to $30-thousand dollars...

There She Is - The new Miss America is facing withering criticism for her "talent." Miss New York, Kira Kazantsev, sang a Pharrell Williams song while playing with a red cup. Think Anna Kendrick in the movie "Pitch Perfect." She said she had the time of her life doing it but social media sits erupted with very harsh comments....

Domestic Violence Law - New Jersey lawmakers are taking up a half-dozen bills aimed at preventing domestic violence. among the measures up for a vote in the Assembly on Monday is one that would allow victims of domestic violence to testify via closed-circuit video, rather than be required to appear in the courtroom with the suspected offender.
