A strong northeast wind was driving the inferno and flames were shooting through the roof when firefighters arrived on the scene on East Brigantine Avenue.

Acting Fire Chief Chip Holl tells The Press of Atlantic City three units are a total loss and one unit is likely a partial loss.

It's not clear if there were any injuries. The cause is under investigation.
