Fire Burns Jersey City Row Home

A three-alarm fire burned through several homes along Bergen Avenue in Jersey City early Monday morning. The fire initially started in one of the two-story homes around 5:30 a.m. according to WABC TV but spread to two adjoining homes. Witnesses say flames initially shot out of the roof. Four buildings were damaged in the blaze.

Residents also report a delay in firefighters arriving at the fire scene as they were on an earlier medical call.
