The fire at Case Pork Roll  broke out around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday.

Trenton Police Officer Pete Szpakowski tells The Times of Trenton it was brought under control about two hours later.

The landmark factory in the city's Chambersburg section produces hickory-smoked pork based on a recipe developed in 1870 by farmer George Washington Case.

The company is a rival of Taylor pork roll, which is often referred to as Taylor Ham.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
