Rapper Fetty Wap received three summonses after a serious motorcycle crash Saturday in Paterson, his hometown, the Associated Press reports.

It quotes Paterson Police Director Jerry Speziale saying Wap, whose real name is Willie Maxwell, was cited for driving without a license, not having insurance and failing to produce a vehicle registration card.

Maxwell was been rushed to a local hospital after a "Scary motorcycle accident" in his hometown of Paterson, TMZ reported earlier this weekend.

Its report quoted an eye-witness saying Maxwell had been on his motorcycle Saturday and tried passing one vehicle, but he didn't see another coming in the opposite direction. The two collided, the report says.

Vibe reports that according to  Fetty Wap DJ, Louie Styles, he only suffered an injury to his left leg.

According to the Associated Press, the woman driving the other vehicle was not hurt.
