It's one of those poorly sourced stories from overseas, but Newser.com is reporting that Russian media are telling the tale of 20 year old man who has spent the past 16 years living in a forest in Siberia with his parents.

The story refers to him as a "feral human"; I've never seen that phrase before, but I guess it makes sense. This is making news now because he and his parents have come out of seclusion, although no one has seen the parents who apparently told their son that he was now on his own. "He has no education, no social skills, no idea about the world" according to prosecutor. Don't assume he's dying to plunge into the modern world: he's already gone back to the forest. Officials are working to get him identification papers so he can apply for social services.
