Fatal South Brunswick crash snarls Turnpike traffic

SOUTH BRUNSWICK — A fatal crash on Route 32 could impact the afternoon commute near the New Jersey Turnpike.

South Brunswick Police spokesman Lt. James Ryan said one person was killed in the two-car crash about 1:25 p.m on Route 32 at South River Road.

Route 32 eastbound heading for Exit 8A of the New Jersey Turnpike is closed between Route 130 and the Turnpike. South River Road is also closed between Route 32 and Thatcher Road.

Ryan did not know the circumstances of the crash and did not identity anyone involved.
