Fan Catches a Puck While Holding a Baby

There are fan catches that are great and then there are catches made by fans that are just downright SPECTACULAR. File this catch by a minor league hockey fan under the latter.  Check out this fan wearing an Islanders jersey at a minor league game between the Norfolk Admirals and the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The guy makes a great snag with his left hand to grab the puck while holding a sleeping baby with his right arm.

Most people get applauded for catching a souvenir at a sporting event when they have a beer in their hand, more or less a small child. While it was probably reckless by the parent to try and snatch the puck with a sleeping baby in the other arm, it was a heck of a catch. We'd just probably stray away from trying it again if we were him.
