WATCH: Family of Boy Saved by Cat Speaks Out
Yesterday, the video of a heroic family cat saving a boy from a vicious dog attack went viral. Now, the Triantafilo family is speaking out about their heroic furry friend.
4-year-old Jeremy, was saved by his quick-reacting cat Tara. According to My Fox Philly, Jeremy says in the video above that Tara "is my hero."
The family said it took 12 stitches to close 2 of Jeremy's wounds.
The Triantafilo family says the dog has never attacked anyone in the neighborhood before this. The dog's owners have turned the dog over to animal control for observation.
