JEFFERSON — Police said a man who posted on his Facebook page that he dropped a 5-month-old baby was charged after he didn't tell police the full story when they initially interview him.

The Daily Record reports that Brendon Miller, of Lake Hopatcong, had been with a 5-month-old child who was admitted to Morristown Medical Center on Feb. 16 and diagnosed with bleeding on the brain.

Miller told police that the baby was acting normally when it was sleeping on his chest.

The report said the 22-year-old was taken into custody after police became aware of the Facebook post and was charged with endangering the welfare of a child. The child has suffered several seizures since the incident.

Police did not disclose Miller's relationship to the child or its gender.
