Earlier in the week our Brand Manager Eric Johnson posted a great video of Bruce Springsteen doing what he does best - Putting on an epic concert filled with great memories. In the video Bruce chugs a beer with the audience in classic Bruce fashion.

The video reminded me of my own personal experience I had with Bruce some 30+ years ago.  Here's my story and I would love to hear your stories below in the comments.

It was in 1977 when Bruce and the E-Street Band were wrapping up the Born to Run tour. I was at the University of Minnesota and my cousin and I got tickets to see him at the Northrop Auditorium. I worked at the university radio station and got back stage to interview Clarence and Steve Van Zandt. I also got a chance to meet Bruce and say hello.

The concert started and we made our way to our seats. I had an aisle seat and Bruce came down into the audience while singing Spirit In The Night.  He recognizes me from back stage, hops on my shoulders and continues to amp the crowd as we're climbing up and down the aisles of the Northrop. It was a great moment.

A lot has changed since that concert.  Today we see each other at the many charities here in New Jersey that Bruce supports.  Bruce still remains part of the great make up of New Jersey culture and can be seen frequently at local haunts.

Have you ever met Bruce? Share your story with us in the comments below -  We'd love to hear them.

Keep listening for your chance to win Bruce's new #1 Album "Wrecking Ball" and for our Top 20 Bruce Hits countdown voted on by YOU tomorrow, Sunday April 1st at 12p!
