BRIDGETON — Police are searching for an 18-year-old who allegedly fired several rounds from a shotgun, injuring five people sitting on the front porch of a home in Cumberland County.

Brian Pineda, 18, is wanted on aggravated assault and weapons charges in connection with the incident, which took place on Marion Street on Thursday, Bridgeton Police said in a Facebook post.

According to police, Pineda allegedly opened fire, discharging several rounds of ammunition from a shotgun and injuring five people who were sitting outside the residence. Police say Pineda then ran into an alleyway and fled the area in a tan, Nissan Quest with a Pennsylvania license plate.

Pineda is described as being 6'01" and weighing about 250 pounds. Police say he is wanted for questioning in connection with the shooting and are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts or the incident to contact Bridgeton Police Lt. Rick Pierce at 856-451-0033. In addition, anonymous tips can be sent to TIP411, text BRIDGETON in the subject field to #847411.

Police have not disclosed the conditions of the victims who were injured by the gunshots. The case is still under investigation. Police advise anyone who comes in contact with Pineda to avoid interaction, as he is considered "armed and extremely dangerous."
