There was a charity football game between police officers from the San Diego area and Los Angeles. Nothing remarkable about that, it's what happened before halftime that is making news.

While the officers were on the field, someone broke into the San Diego team’s locker room and stole guns and badges out of bags that weren’t in lockers. According to the L.A. Times, the robbers took three handguns, four badges, jewelry, and cash. The break-in apparently took place in broad daylight with many law enforcement personnel in the vicinity. They have no suspects.
