Elizabeth Police Investigate Punching Video

Elizabeth Police say they are investigating a YouTube video that appears to show a police officer punching a woman outside a club.

The 20 second video taken with a cell phone shows a fight on the street.

As an unidentified woman walking away from the fight puts her arm around the neck of man who had also been fighting an officer comes and pushes theĀ  man back down and strikes at the woman; the video ends at that point.

 

Elizabeth Police offered no comment on the incident to the Star Ledger or Townsquare Media.
