Edison police cruiser goes through hotel window

An Edison police cruiser went through the window of a hotel by accident on Saturday morning.

The officer was responding to an ambulance call at the Extended Stay America hotel in Raritan Center when for reasons unknown the cruiser lurched forward into an empty hotel room, according to Edison Police.

Edison Police say the incident was unrelated to the ambulance call.
