Easter bunny involved in brawl at NJ mall

Security guards at Newport Mall in Jersey City were forced to hop into action Sunday after the shopping center's Easter bunny became involved in a brawl with a customer.

The scuffle caused quite a stir in the mall, as well as on social media, as comments and videos began to surface on sites such as Twitter. One video shows the mall's bunny - minus the head portion of his costume - getting into a physical altercation with a man who was waiting in line for photos.

The bunny then removes his gloves as he and the man exchange punches. Mall security ultimately separated the men as they continued to struggle in the middle of the crowd of onlookers, the video shows.

It is still unknown how the bunny brawl began. Mall security Sunday evening said the incident happened around 5:30 p.m. on the first level of the shopping center, but declined provide any additional information until Monday morning.
