Eagles Shakeup Front Offfice, Release President Joe Banner
While the World Champion New York Giants were extending their head coaches contract, the Philadelphia Eagles were saying goodbye to President Joe Banner , who will still have a job but the freedom to search for another team.
Banner , a childhood friend of Eagles Owner Jeffrey Laurie, had been with the team since Laurie bought them in 1994. He will be replaced by Chief operating officer Don Smolenski, who will oversee the day to day operations.
