MVC agencies in Newark, Bayonne and Rahway now join the Salem, Turnersville, West Deptford, Hazlet, Manahawkin and Rio Grande agencies as retail locations for the kits.

The sale of the kits began in September 2012, and since then, about 450 have been sold.

The On-the-Go kit is $31 and contains everything needed for a motorist to begin using E-ZPass immediately after purchase.  Before the MVC became a retailer for the kits, they were only available at travel plazas along the Garden State Parkway, New Jersey Turnpike and Atlantic City Expressway and at the Atlantic City Welcome Center.
