Drunk NJ man’s friend pushes him onto subway, gets pinned by train, cops say
NEW YORK — A Newark man was arrested after allegedly pushing a man onto the subway tracks Manhattan on Sunday while "highly intoxicated."
The NYPD said Aaron Clary, 25, of Newark was with a group of friends around 7:20 a.m. and pushed Mike Allison onto the tracks at the 18th Street-Seventh Avenue station. Allison, also reportedly intoxicated, suffered head and foot injuries when he was pinned under a train.
Clary turned himself into police and faces attempted manslaughter and assault charges.
