Drug tests for NJ middle-schoolers: ‘Are you freaking insane?!’
Lacey Township passed a policy that would establish random drug testing for seventh- and eighth-graders. Though the program is voluntary, I acted out a possible scenario that some may use to cheat the system.
The whole idea of randomly drug testing middle schoolers is flat-out insane. Why would a parent possibly set a child up for this? Most kids rebel against any kind of authority, and I don't see how this is any different.
