Drug deal gone bad: police say buyer dragged by sellers
Police say two South Amboy women were charged with robbery and assault with an automobile for robbing a woman during a drug deal gone bad.
Driver Kelly Kehoe allegedly grabbed $100 from the hands of a woman on George Street in Spotswood as she attempted to buy Oxycodone, according to police. She then sped off, dragging the buyer 20 feet down the road.
The woman suffered injuries to her back and legs as the car kept driving.
Kehoe and passenger Kristen Wolfe were later arrested and charged and being held on $150,000 bail each at the Middlesex County Correctional Facility. The unidentified victim was charged with loitering to obtain a controlled dangerous substance.
