A motorist whose car broke down on the New Jersey Turnpike was killed moments later when another vehicle rear-ended the car and knocked it into him.State police say 30-year-old Alex Levine of Piscataway was traveling southbound in a center lane when his car became disabled just before 6 a.m. Sunday near milemarker 95.1 in Carteret.

After Levine got out of his car and was still on the highway, another vehicle traveling down the center lane rear-ended his car. The car then struck Levine, who was pronounced dead at the scene,

The other driver, whose name was not released, was being treated at a hospital for undisclosed injuries that were not considered life-threatening.
