Drew University President Stepping Down
Drew University is looking for a new president.
Officials with the liberal arts college in Madison announced Wednesday that Robert Weisbuch will step down June 30 after seven years as the school’s leader. He’ll be replaced then on an interim basis by Vivian Bull, a former longtime economics professor at Drew who now serves as president emerita of Linfield College in Oregon.
Weisbuch said he decided to resign so he could focus on his writing. He currently has three books in the works.
Drew has about 2,700 students in three schools, a college of liberal arts, a theological school and a school of graduate studies. It offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in more than 29 disciplines.
