Dozens of Birds Fall to Ground, Die in Millville
Dozens of birds have fallen out of the sky and died in southern New Jersey.
Millville police believe the deaths Tuesday morning came because of a legal application of pesticide at a farm in town.
Residents tell The News of Cumberland County that they saw dozens of birds dropping around 8:30 a.m.
Michelle Cavalieri says it was like a horror movie. Birds would fall, try to get up and fall again until they could not move at all.
Darlene Knoll said she saw birds fall to the ground off a feeder.
