Yesterday was my first day of chemotherapy treatment at my second home for the last year, the Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. I passed all of the tests they gave me to see how my body would handle some of the treatments and medications.

Before I knew it, I was hooked up the the IV. A total of eight hours spent inside the building yesterday. I couldn't believe how many people were there. There had to have been at least 100 people receiving treatment — a reminder that I am not going through this alone.

Side effects like nausea, vomiting, partial hearing loss, or hair loss, have yet to take effect. Only time will tell how my body will react.

Stay tuned for more updates about my chemotherapy journey.
