Downtown Robbinsville — A true Jersey hidden gem with a twist!

I've highlighting some great New Jersey small towns that are old, historic and quaint. The other day we stumbled across Town Center in Robbinsville in search of some great Italian food for lunch.

Some listeners had recommended Dolce & Clemente's Italian Market for some authentic Italian food. When we walked in, my producer Danny and I were blown away with the variety and sheer volume of amazing food on display.

You could get your favorites packed up cold to take home, but we had ours warmed up to eat at the tables set up outside. Thank God the weather was perfect and the food was everything we were told to expect....and then some.

Right across the way is the legendary De Lorenzo's Tomato Pies and the Centro Grille. It's all tucked into the modern day equivalent of a "town center" planned unit development that is world class in planning and execution.

It's been a great success story for Robbinsville and a cool place to check out, even if it's just for the great eating spots.
