Evidence matters: Trump needs to place the proper blame on Bridgegate scandal

I've been tough on the Governor, but I don't buy this story.

Why are some so quick to portray Bridget Anne Kelly as a victim?  She sent the email that allegedly said "time for traffic in Fort Lee."  She was not only involved in a crime, she played a major role in the abuse of power scandal.  Evidence matters.

If there was a shred of evidence linking Governor Christie to the closing of the access lanes to the GWB, he would have been implicated at trial.  And the comments from witnesses about his "knowledge" don't indicate that he ordered the action nor does it show that he actually knew why the lanes were closed.

The Port Authority does in fact conduct traffic studies.
