Donald Trump Being Honored by NJ GOP Group

Real estate developer and media personality Donald Trump is being lauded by the Somerset County Republican Organization.

Trump is receiving the group's "Republican of the Year" award. The 67-year-old businessman is also giving the keynote address at the organization's event on Wednesday night.

Organization Chairman Al Gaburo says the group is "thrilled" to have Trump at the annual fundraising dinner.

Trump is being honored for his investment in Somerset County. He developed Trump National Country Club in Bedminster, which will host the U.S. Women's Open in three years.

Former U.S. Sen. Jeff Chiesa also is receiving an award.
