Dog Poop Wars Erupt in California

We’ve had some entertaining dog poop disagreements in New Jersey, but this one from California involves a mayor. In San Marino, CA, a man who is against a proposed dog park near his house has erected some “no poop zone” signs on his property. The dog park is the idea of the town’s mayor. He thinks that is why the mayor recently left a bag of dog doo on his walkway.

How does he know the mayor did it? He has surveillance video of it. The video captures the mayor and his wife strolling past his driveway and tossing the bag of poo on the private walkway leading to his house. The mayor said he “found” the bag of poop near the walkway and moved it. The funniest part of the whole mess is that neither the mayor nor the homeowner owns a dog.
