Does it bother you that Bruce wore a PSU hat?

So Bruce Springsteen is now hearing it for rocking a Penn State hat on his trip to Madrid. This is supposed to upset Rutgers fans now that they are rivals with Penn St. Do you think they really care?

I don’t recall Bruce being a fan of any college or supporting any team. It’s well documented that Jon Bon Jovi is a Giants fan. But is Springsteen obligated to only support local teams? Governor Christie is a fan of the Dallas Cowboys, although we’ve never seen him sporting the logo (red sweater not withstanding.)

In this age of internet and DirecTV, we can be fans of any team anytime. I’m a Giants fan who has worn his colors at Veterans stadium in Philadelphia. Then again, I’m a fan. I’m guessing Bruce just needed a hat and happened to reach for that one.
