Hernandez, who is an undocumented immigrant who speaks little English,  was arrested in 2012 after leaving her two young children in the car while out looking for her 3-year old son who wandered away.

Hernandez believes the lack of a translator caused the police to wrongly accuse her of endangering the welfare of her children and putting them at risk for harm.

Do you think Carmela Hernandez has a valid claim against Berlin Township?
