Dennis and Judi were discussing the story by Townsquare News news reporter Dino Flammia that the class of 2008 were in a very bad position when they graduated.

Graduates in 2008, went into the job market at the height of the recession and fell behind in getting themselves established in a career.

As Dennis and Judi pointed out, there are people who still have not used their field of study for anything that they do today, assuming that they were even able to find a job.

Dennis and Judi asked the listeners if they use their degrees towards their current jobs. The majority of callers said that they do not use their degree in their current job. Some never get a job in the field that they studied for. Some callers pointed out they still keep their eyes open for jobs in the field they went to school for but the majority admitted that they had to move on from what they originally wanted to do for one reason or another.

Does your career match what you went to school for? Take the poll below and let us know.
