Do you miss snow? Check out these snowflakes under a microscope

We are halfway through January and living in Somerset County I have yet to see a flake of snow. With this crazy winter it's easy to forget how beautiful snow can be. Here's an amazing video offered by Kenneth Libbrecht, Professor of Physics at the California Institute of Technology. Since the late 90's he has been studying snowflakes, ice patterns, crystal growth and ice formations. The video shows snowflakes as seen under a microscope.
