BLOOMINGDALE — A pair of men believed to have installed a skimming device into a Lakeland Bank ATM may not have factored in surveillance cameras in the bank's vestibule, or on the machine itself, while doing their illegal work.

The Bloomingdale Police Department said the skimming device was installed on Dec. 23 of last year and removed three days later.

The department in Passaic County is encouraging customers who used the machine during that time to change their PIN numbers, as they were likely picked up by the device. Anyone who finds unauthorized access to their account should contact the police as well as their bank.

Anyone who can identify the men is encouraged to call the department at 973-838-0158.
