Eating alone has become more popular at quick service restaurants. People will usually take this opportunity to get some work done while enjoying a quick meal. But would you ever consider enjoying a full dinner by yourself at a restaurant?

This may seem unusual, because part of dining out is about enjoying company over a meal. Think about what goes through your mind when you spot a solo diner - you might assume person was stood up, or is lonely. Plus, dining solo can appear to be boring, especially when you're waiting for your food.

Are there benefits to dining out alone? Some might use it as an escape from routine. It's an excuse not to cook for a night, and could be seen as a treat.

Would you ever go out to eat by yourself?
