R.A. Dickey and the rest of the Mets have shocked me this season. As a die-hard fan, I'm used to disappointment but this year has an entirely different feel to it.

So I can't take credit for the headline, that would go to The 7 Line.com. If your a Mets fan, take a visit to this site. I'm a big fan of what they've done here, it really emphasizes that if your a fan you really take pride in your team throughout the years. Plus the amount of creativity is fantastic and you get a feeling that you really belong to a great team, with or without the wins.

Last night R.A. Dickey made an appearance on the David Letterman show, you can check out the video below of him throwing Letterman his signature knuckle-ball.

The biggest controvery with the knuckle-ball is that people say it's tough to catch, so you can understand that there was some controversy with Dickey not starting in the All Star game (which he shut out by the way, but I digress).

I think the Mets have a good chance this year, I mean they've been playing pretty good, the team is relatively healthy, one of our pitchers has the best record year and the other threw a no hitter, all in all I think we've got a shot... but what do you think?

How do you feel about the Mets this year? Do they have a chance or is this just the 'Luck of Flushing?'
