Now that NYC Mayor Bill DeBlasio has announced that undocumented illegals will be given municipal ids, how long before more of New Jersey follows suit?

If DeBlasio's proposal passes, the new id cards would not allow undocumented immigrants the ability to use it as a driver's license or use it at other federal agencies.

The cards are believed to create a better relationship between the police and the immigrants.

What do you think of these cards? Trenton has already adopted this policy, do you see more NJ towns following their lead? Is it a good idea?
