The “Funny Five,” a group of high school students that got themselves in hot water for a comedy sketch are putting together a special “On Demand” performance Saturday at the Columbia High School in Maplewood because they'll be in detention.

It seems that this group of students were parodying students and teachers including one faculty member who took offense and didn’t want to be a part of it.  The students claim they were not told to remove the sketch until it had been performed twice during a yearly weekend show, When asked to remove the sketch,  they complied. They performed the final show at the Maplewood tennis court and the sketch “Couples' Therapy" remained in the program.

When the administration discovered this, the Saturday detentions were handed out.
