After the state of emergency and closing of state offices yesterday, Governor Christie then authorized a 10:30 AM delayed opening for this morning for all non-essential state employees.

According to NJ.com, The delayed opening was implemented to allow time to clear roadways, parking lots and sidewalks for safe travel. Fine, but did you the tax payer get such a perk this morning? Now yesterday made sense to stay off the roads no matter if you work in the public or private sector if you were not absolutely needed. This morning though, I can't see calling for a delayed opening for state workers and treating them like precious school children. You had to get to your jobs at the regular time. Why shouldn't they? Am I wrong?
