This past Saturday, I headed out to Fieldsboro, NJ to join archaeologists, Monmouth University students, volunteers, and Friends of the White Hill Mansion on a perfect spring afternoon to dig for history on the banks of the Delaware River. White Hill is without a doubt one of my favorite historic (and haunted) locations that I've had the pleasure to visit a number of times over the years. It's exciting to see the history that is being uncovered there. If you would like to see for yourself, digs will continue on Saturdays through July 6th. Volunteers are welcome to join in.
