Although the lawsuit was dismissed, there has been much debate over the last few weeks as to whether or not someone could be liable for sending a text message to a driver that results in the driver getting into an accident.

Maybe part of the problem lies in the fact that technology has helped us forget how to converse with each other. Wouldn't it be nice if we called each other once in a while and actually SAID hello rather than to send a text? There's something to be said for hearing someone's voice on the other end of a phone to make it more personal. As crazy as it may seem, it may be better to hear someone laugh at something you said rather than to receive a text reply of 'LOL.'
