Did Trump steal ‘golf ball bit’ from ‘Newhart’?

President Trump is getting a lot of grief over a gif he tweeted out in the wee hours of the morning of him hitting a golf ball that after some editing appears to hit Hillary Clinton in the back as she was boarding a plane. Remind you of anything?

This seems oddly familiar if you've ever watched the "Newhart" series finale where Bob aka "Dick" who's apparently selling the Inn which he owns in this 80's TV series gets knocked out by a golf ball and wakes up in the bed of his first hit sitcom "The Bob Newhart" show next to Suzanne Pleshette who played his wife, Emily.
