Cory Schneider made 21 stops for his first shutout of the season and Mike Cammalleri had a goal and two assists, leading the New Jersey Devils to a dominating 4-0 victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night.

David Schlemko, Bobby Farnham and Lee Stempniak also scored for surprising New Jersey, which has won four of five. Adam Henrique added two assists.

Pittsburgh lost for the second straight night after winning seven of their previous eight games.

Schneider was only tested only a handful of times in his 17th career shutout. He had a nice save with his blocking pad on Penguins center Sidney Crosby, who has only two goals in 17 games.

Schlemko scored at 15:28 of the first off a scramble in front, a play that was reviewed in Toronto. The Devils opened a 2-0 lead in the second when Cammalleri scored on a power play, making a smart pass to himself with his skate to his stick.

Farnham came out of the penalty box and was able to score right away in the opening stages of the third. It was Farnham's second goal of the season; he was claimed off waivers by the Devils from Pittsburgh on Oct. 26.

Jeff Zatkoff made 33 saves for Pittsburgh in his third start of the season.

Devils center Jacob Josefson had a golden chance with 5:21 left in the first. He skated in alone and fired his shot directly into Zatkoff's chest. Josefson is still without a goal this season.

Soon after, the Devils broke in 4-on-2 and defenseman Schlemko knocked in a rebound. Penguins defenseman Rob Scuderi tried desperately to get the puck out of the crease and knocked the goal off its mooring, but it was Schlemko's second goal of the season.

New Jersey thought it had another goal late when Kyle Palmieri slid the puck under Zatkoff late in the second, but apparently the whistle had blown and the net was knocked off the mooring. The review took almost five minutes before the goal was officially waved off with 1:42 left.

But Farnham scored at 2:09 of the third, and Stempniak, one of the team's best acquisitions in the offseason, capped the scoring with his fourth goal at 14:54.
