DeSean is DeGone – Eagles Wide Receiver Out for the Year

Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson will be placed on injured reserve with rib injuries sustained in the first quarter of Monday nights 30-22 loss to the Carolina Panthers.

Andy Reid, speaking at his press conference said:

He’s got multiple fractures up high and in here, and as Howie (gm Roseman)  and I get together we can always build options for down the road if we wanted to tag him to where he can come back, but we haven’t discussed that yet.

Jackson this year led the team with 45 catches for 700 yards and a 15.6 average
