The JOBS4JERSEY.com website currently has 366,000 jobs within a 50 mi radius of NJ and 129,000 jobs right here in NJ. They have also set up a hotline you can call, 877-682-6238, which is a help desk for folks that have any questions regarding anything to do with the Department of Labor.

There are currently 85,000 unemployment claims in the first 15 days from November. To put that in perspective, last month, there were only 22,000 claims. The amount of claims that they received almost crashed their system. If you waiting for a response, the department requests you just have patience as they are starting to catch up to all the work.

Commissioner Wirths stressed that other than the hotline 877-682-6238, the easiest way to find out all the information you need is to log onto the website JOBS4JERSEY.com
