Today's spring-like temperatures will likely strong thunderstorms tonight and early Thursday morning along with strong winds. The afternoon brought warm temperatures in the 60's today with a gusty wind.

A high wind warning is in effect from 7PM Wednesday night until 4AM Thursday morning in central & southern counties for high winds that could bring down utility lines.

The front could also drop up to 2-and-a-half inches of rain in just a few hours according to a statement issued by the National Weather Service.The ground is frozen and will not absorb the water meaning water will pond quickly on roads and run off into streams. Forecasters are especially concerned about the Neshaminy, Perkiomen, Brandywine, Christina, Jordon, Brodhead, Assunpink and Millstone. A flash flood watch is also in effect in north and central New Jersey as well.
