Driving in the heavy wet snow Wednesday afternoon is not for the faint of heart. Nor is it for the vehicles of two wheel drive. Although I’ve seen some people doing well with that others are struggling mightily. Highway speeds of anywhere between 25 and 35 miles an hour on one out of three lanes plowed.

There’s a reason they declared a state of emergency and it is evident driving around Wednesday afternoon. 10 miles down and 40 to go.
