Dennis & Michele: Violence in schools doesn’t happen everywhere

During today's show, Nicki from Wilmington, Delaware called in to Dennis & Michele to defend going to high school in an urban area, saying it's a shame that successful stories are overpowered by the negative ones. The conversation got a little heated.

The call took a turn when Dennis said he wouldn't want his kids at a school that had fights and riots. Nicki said it's "unfair to categorize schools by the amount of violence" and that there's "violence everywhere," to which Dennis repeated himself saying, "no there's not."

Dennis then told Nicki that once she had kids that age, she would understand why you wouldn't want your kids going to a violent school. He said his generation was used to being disciplined by teachers and principals instead of police.
